African underground trends mix with tribal traditions live on stage for fresh instrumental club music.
Aarhus-based trio De Place / Bøgh / Gambula plays original afrobeat from the African east coast to west coast and all the way to Denmark. Instrumental hiphop inspired by local African traditions unleashed in a heavy groove filled with references to a modern underground scene made up of colorful effects, heavy productions and unstoppable parties. With impressive ease and playful acting-out over shifts in tempo and flasy fills, the trio grooves as a wild late night club-set, but with the nerve and presence as only the most skilled musicians can bring to the stage.
