With deep roots in the Mandinka griot tradition, kora player Dawda Jobarteh is one of the strongest West African musicians currently shining on the Danish scene. Being more than fluent on the 21-stringed harp and with a heartwarming vocal and inspiring presence, Dawda Jobarteh has moved and impressed both new and old audiences with his music for more than a decade. Always eager to explore new possibilities with his instrument, both in solo set-ups and as part of a wide range of different constellations, Dawda Jobarteh always deliver a musical experience of very high class.
