Hilal Kaya
Anatolian folk music in moving singer songwriter format. Hilal Kaya gives her first solo concert in Denmark at det turkise telt 2021.
The voice and her presence have been in steady rotation on the Danish hitlists since 2019 with songs such as Özgürüm Ben og Çok Küstüm. Together with “super group” Kalaha, Hilal Kaya has added Anatolian wings to the group’s instrumental ways, and thus crafted some of Denmark’s first Tyrkish radio hits. As a solo artist Hilal Kaya dives deeper into her Anatolian roots playing classical songs as well as her own compositions with inspiration from the Anatolian traditions, pop and jazz.
