In just three years the Aarhus-based Roots&Hybrid group, Ipek Yolu, journeyed from spontaneous jam project to headliner on some of Denmark’s most important stages. Their debutalbum TROPICAL ANATOLIA is dropping shortly, and with a strong core group consisting of Orhan Ozgur (saz), Lasse Aagaard (guitar) and Olaf Brinch (electronics) the trio is ready to unleash a kaleidoscopic sound drawing on the collective power of the three musicians and a web of connections, inspirations and influcences from all over the globe. Anatolian folk, psych rock, hypnotic cumbia and heavyvibing bass. Ipek Yolu will for this concert be joined by Benjamin Lesak Jensen on synth and Martin Mdsen on percussion.
