Turkish trio opens the portal to electronic universes of nomadic grooves and shamanic beats.
New lands, new people and new stories await inside Islandmans ever-expanding music universe. Lead by Istanbul’s Tolga Böyök alongside Erlap Güven and Erdem Baser, the trio builds musical bridges and treads melodic paths between worlds not yet traveled. The outlines living in their footsteps are as appealing to the jazz enthusiast as the folk music fan or the musical travel companion ready to party. Islandman is the connection between this world and the uplifting dance music of a tribe that nobody knows.
