det turkise telt presents sound artist and composer Sofie Brich in the beautiful universe of Thingbæk Kalkminer.

Sofie Brich brings together soothing synthesizers with explorative field recordings in ambient and melodic sound collages. Through improvised melodies, and with a strong sense for her surroundings and audience, Sofie Brich captures the impulses of the moment in minimal soundscapes.

With a bachelor degree in sound design and a wide set of self-taught skills on guitar, piano and in vocal training Sofie Birch’s sound is both cinematic and spacious, but at the same time rich in detail and texture, and with a warm spiritual energy.

The concert is located in Thingbæk Kalkmine (limestone mine), where the soundscapes of Sofie Birch will unfold in embracing ways between the high reaching walls and under the beautiful arches. Enjoy a concert space where the sound moves and lives with the surroundings, drawing scenic lines in both melodies and stone.
